Implementation of the e-commerce model (customer self-service solutions) at UAB "Druskų miestas"
In 2021–2022, UAB "Druskų miestas" successfully implemented the project “E-commerce Model Implementation (Customer Self-Service Solutions)” (Project No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-0763) under Measure No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860, part of the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Programme, Priority 13: “Promotion of Actions to Overcome the Crisis Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic and Preparation for Environmentally Friendly, Digital and Sustainable Economic Revitalisation.”
The main objective of the project was to implement information technologies for managing business transactions electronically, thereby supporting income growth.
As part of the project, the company installed an e-commerce model (customer self-service solution) — software designed for accommodation establishments — enabling customers to independently order accommodation services and make payments.
Following installation, hotel guests can order and pay for accommodation at any time of day, providing a 24/7 virtual reception without assistance from hotel staff. The software was fully integrated with the hotel’s existing systems. Through the customer self-service platform, guests can check hotel availability for specified periods, and the system suggests room types and pricing according to availability.
